by isleofman.com 18th June 2009

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company will be holding an open evening on its new fastcraft Manannan on Tuesday 23rd June from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

Following the successful introduction of the new vessel into service and her busy TT schedule, the Company would like to welcome members of the public onboard Manannan to view the enhanced and varied facilities that the new vessel offers.

Visitors will be welcomed by Steam Packet Company staff at the Sea Terminal before boarding the vessel.

Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: 'We have received a lot of positive feedback since Manannan entered service.

'She has performed exceptionally well during TT 2009 and now that her schedule has eased off, I am delighted to invite members of the

public onboard to share in all that Manannan has to offer.'

A round-the-Island trip on Manannan will take place on Tuesday 30th June. The trip will include a buffet and offer a highly enjoyable way to take in the Island’s beautiful coastline.

To make a reservation, please call into the Ferry Travel Shop or telephone 661661.
