Theft of unusual birds

Two Japanese Quail birds have been stolen from a house in Douglas.

Police say it happened at the weekend, between 5pm on Saturday and the same time on Sunday.

A third Quail died from injuries believed to have been received during the theft.

For operational reasons, police are not saying where the theft occurred, but they are asking anybody with information to get in touch.
