It's hoped changing the name of a body which aims to improve the lives of disabled people in the Isle of Man will bring it more up to date.
From now on, the Chronically Sick and Disabled Person’s Committee will be known as the Tynwald Advisory Council for Disabilities.
When the change was announced in Tynwald, Onchan member Peter Karran said, rather than dealing with such a minor issue, efforts should be ploughed into putting disability discrimination legislation in place.
Health Minister Eddie Teare acknowledged that was a priority, but said the name change still represented a significant step forward.
He said further progress would once again be dependant on resources.
