Funfair family says TT wasn't the same this year

Relatives of David Taylor, the man who runs the funfair which normally comes to the Isle of Man during the TT period, say all parties have really lost out in its absence.

The Department of Tourism pulled the attraction for TT2009 because in recent times it wasn't being used much by visitors, and was looking 'tired'.

David's son Nathanial, and his cousin Ray, say they wanted to bring the fair over, and the Island hasn't been the same without it.

They both feel the promenade suffered badly as a result of the DTL's decision:
