A long-serving member of St John Ambulance has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
Joan Radcliffe was recognised with the honour after 53 years service to the organisation in the Island.
The 73 year-old, who lives in Peveril Road in Willaston, will pick her medal up later this year.
