The Island's Government wants your say on an idea to create an artificial reef off the coast of Port Erin.
A consultation has been launched on proposals for using redundant underwater cables to increase the amount of marine life in the area.
The idea is to create a number of different structures in the closed-off area near Port Erin.
They will be attached to steel frames so they can be easily removed.
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry wants to carry out a number of trials for the artificial reef, which would be made of thick rope covering an area of more than four kilometres squared.
An environmental risk assessment has been completed and shows the risk of pollution is minimal.
It's hoped the area would be of great interest to both anglers and divers.
