Police hunt graffiti vandals

by isleofman.com 15th June 2009

Police are investigating a spate of vandalism and graffiti which happened in Douglas earlier this month.

Details have only just been released, but two cars were damaged, one was broken into and vandals daubed foul language onto the walls of a nursery.

All the incidents took place near the Esplanade and Esplanade Lane on Central Promenade on Sunday, June 7.

A red Citroen Saxo and silver Vauxhall Corsa had wing mirrors kicked off and somebody broke into a red Mazda MX3.

Nearby, someone wrote offensive graffiti on the walls of a children’s nursery with a black marker pen.

If you have any information about any of the incidents, you are asked to contact police on 631212 or the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
