After years of build up and months of advice and guidance, the switchover to digital television begins on Thursday.
The current analogue signals will be switched off from June 18, starting with BBC2.
Letters have been sent to certain groups of people around the Island in recent weeks, reminding them that unless they have suitable digital equipment they will no longer be able to receive television channels.
Help has been available for those aged over 75 for some time, but there has been concern among the relevant authorities, because the take-up hasn't been very good.
Director of the Island's Communications Commission Dr Carmel McLaughlin thinks some people may still be confused (play audio file):
The number to ring for help and advice on the switchover to digital television is 0800-408-5901, but the commission is stressing help will not be available after August 22.
