The Island’s Chamber of Commerce is to write to the Department of Tourism and Leisure to express its concerns over this year’s TT entertainment.
Many members have complained that the festival atmosphere in Douglas was missing this year, and that local traders suffered as a result.
Immediate past president of the chamber John Hollis says it was a mistake to axe the traditional free entertainment from Douglas Promenade.
He hopes the DTL will rethink its position when planning next year’s event:
