GP recommends simple test for swine flu

If you are worried about swine flu, there are ways to find out whether you are suffering more than simple sniffles.

Chairman of the General Practitioners’ Group on the Island Dr Alex Allinson says many people are contacting their doctors with minor ailments, and the level of concern has increased since the first case was confirmed in the Isle of Man last week.

However, there are cheap and practical ways to check before approaching medical staff:
