Bishop Robert will celebrate an important milestone with Island congregations today (Sunday).
It's a year since he arrived here, and also the first anniversary of his being made a bishop.
To mark the occasion, Bishop Robert will hold two services - one in Peel Cathedral on St Patrick's Isle and another in the new cathedral.
It's a reversal of the journey he made to his enthronement.
Manx Radio's Religious Affairs correspondent Judieth Ley says Bishop Robert is keen to embrace the ancient and the modern in Manx culture.
After the second service, Bishop Robert will plant a chestnut tree, to mark what would have been the 80th birthday of holocaust victim Anne Frank.
