by isleofman.com 13th June 2009

The Billown circuit is hosting the last races of TT 2009 today.

The Motorsport Merchandise Lightweight and Ultra Lightweight events are being held for the second year and will feature well known TT riders, including Ian Lougher, Chris Palmer, and Michael and William Dunlop.

The scheduled road closure time for the first practice session is 9.45am, with the first race due to get underway at 3.10pm.

The last race is due to start at 7.40pm, with roads opening no later than 9pm.

The roads will be open between races for 45 minutes from 12.30pm, and in the evening for 50 minutes, until 5.40pm.

Last year the races attracted large crowds and were well received by biking fans.
