The long-serving chief executive of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce has been honoured by the Queen.
Barbara O'Hanlon has been awarded an MBE in Her Majesty's Birthday Honours, for services to business in the Isle of Man.
Mrs O'Hanlon has worked for the chamber since 1974, and has held the position of chief executive for many years.
She sees the award as acknowledging the work of the whole organisation, but recognises there have been tremendous changes since she became involved (play audio file):
