Alleged assault investigated

Police are renewing an appeal for information after a violent incident in which a man received a serious leg injury.

It happened near to Admiral House on Loch Promenade in Douglas just before 3am on Wednesday (June 10).

The 30 year-old man from Barnsley required hospital treatment.

Two men have been arrested and released on police bail.

Officers are still asking for anyone who may have witnessed the alleged assault to get in contact with police headquarters on 631212 or use Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
