The tourism and leisure minister is once again defending the choices which were made in relation to entertainment for TT fans this year.
Martyn Quayle says, after the 2008 festival, there were many complaints that things were tired, down market and in need of an overhaul.
He believes people have welcomed the absence of the funfair, although he acknowledges that certain attractions, including simulators and bungee jumps, would be appreciated on Douglas promenade.
Mr Quayle is adamant that the focus of attention should be the Villa Marina, which cost the tax payer ?20 million pounds to refurbish.
And he's sure many people will have good things to say about this year's programme of events.
Mr Quayle says all views will be taken into account with the aim of improving things for next year, but he's confident his department is on the right track:
