TT watering hole chosen as final resting place

Staff at Bushy's Beer Tent are scratching their heads after somebody's ashes were scattered at the popular watering hole.

They were discovered on Monday, near to the merchandising stand inside the marquee, in the Bottleneck Car Park on Douglas promenade.

It's the first time it's ever happened, and Bushy’s managing director Martin Brunnschweiler says he feels flattered somebody would want their final resting place to be in the festival landmark.

However, he's appealing for those who scattered the ashes to contact him at the tent, and says he'd love to know the story behind it:
