Plan Your Parking for Peel Beach Races

by isleofman.com 11th June 2009

Inspector Mark Britton of the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team asks that anyone planning to come and see the Beach Racing in Peel tonight (11th June 2009) should consider where they are going to park.

He says 'We want people to come and enjoy this event but as with Laxey earlier today the traffic flow will be helped if those attending in cars park outside of the town and walk in.

'There is new parking area near to Fenella Beach and parking on the Marine Parade end of the Promenade.

'Unfortunately, there is no provision to use the daisy fields this year but avoiding the area of the promenade will assist in keeping the area clear. I thank people in advance for their help in this.'
