Injured marshal in UK hospital

An update is expected later today on the condition of a travelling marshal who crashed at Keppel Gate, at the end of yesterday's Supersport race.

The incident, involving John McBride from Douglas, happened at 1.30pm.

Mr McBride was seriously injured and was initially taken to Noble's Hospital.

However, he was later airlifted to the United Kingdom for specialist treatment.

Keppel Gate is near the 34th milestone.
