A fire has left the gym of the Manx Amateur Boxing Club structurally unsafe, according to the club's chairman.
Peter Roberts says the building is about to collapse, following a blaze yesterday (Monday) evening and has urged the public to stay away from the gym on Castle Drive.
As the clubhouse was uninsured, rebuilding the property will have to be funded by the club.
Mr Roberts is thanking the fire crews who helped prevent even more damage.
