The Department of Tourism and Leisure has confirmed that, to allow fans time to travel from the delayed racing to the Villa Marina this evening (Tuesday 9th June), rock gods Whitesnake will take to the stage at 9.30pm, half an hour later than scheduled.
The Department has thanked the bands for agreeing to delay the start of their set, thereby ensuring that fans have the opportunity to enjoy an unmissable show.
The Villa Marina gates will open at 7pm. Whitesnake will be supported by Jett Black, whose set will kick off at 8pm.
There will be a break in the programme at 8.30pm to allow the audience to watch the Red Arrows over Douglas bay. The RAF's commentary will be broadcast over the Villa Marina speaker system.
Tickets are still available for tonight's event, priced at ?35. They can be purchased from the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal; from the Villa Marina until 3pm; and from the Gaiety Theatre from 2pm.
