IOM university a long-term aim of new IBS director

The new director of the International Business School says there is large scope for developing the site at the Nunnery.

On Manx Radio's Sunday Opinion, Professor Gerald Watts said he was working towards the long-term goal of an Isle of Man university.

He has joined the college from the University of Gloucestershire, where he was Professor of Entrepreneurship and has had a long and varied career.

Professor Watts says there are no concrete plans to turn the IBS into a university as yet, but it's definitely on the agenda:
