Decision on today's racing due at 7.30am

by isleofman.com 6th June 2009

TT competitors and thousands of fans are hoping racing at the 2009 festival doesn't get off to a false start.

The six lap Dainese Superbike race is due to get the action underway at 12 noon today, with the mountain section closing at 10.30am and the rest of the course half an hour later.

The programme is scheduled to continue at 3pm with the three lap Sure Sidecar TT Race One.

But with rain forecast, there are concerns racing may have to be postponed, and an announcement is due at 7.30 this morning on the organisers' decision.

If the programme can't go ahead it will be switched to tomorrow.
