Minister warns government can't run chamber

Health Minister Eddie Teare says he's positive his department can move forward in talks on the future of the Island's hyperbaric chamber.

There's been speculation in recent weeks the facility is to close, and eight members of Tynwald have signed a letter to the minister asking him to intervene.

Mr Teare says while there are two schools of thought on the effectiveness of the treatment received by patients using the chamber, he believes those behind it should show their support "in a tangible manner".

He says government alone can't keep it running:
