Ice cream parlours in meltdown!

An Isle of Man ice cream company is enjoying increased sales during TT practice week, thanks to good weather and the number of visitors.

Davison's Ice Creams has seen a constant stream of customers sampling its 26 flavours.

During busy weeks the ice cream parlour in Peel sells around 650 gallons of ice cream, and the company hopes the new Villa Marina parlour will do the same.

Managing director Ian Davison hopes the firm's profile will grow, as its kipper flavoured ice cream could soon feature on a BBC chat show:
