Musicians join together to celebrate TTXGP launch

A group of Manx musicians have come together to mark a world first in motorsport.

More than 40 artists feature on a cover of the John Mayer track 'Waiting for the World to Change', a project which was inspired by the TTXGP.

The world's first zero carbon, clean emissions motorcycle race will take place before the Senior TT next Friday.

Local producer Dave Armstrong says he met the man behind the races, Azhar Hussain, and together they decided something special should be done to commemorate the occasion.

The song was recorded and filmed at the same time at various locations around the Island, and will be launched at the TTXGP pavilion at Noble's Park this weekend.

Clean emissions races are expected to be taken up around the world, and Dave hopes the same thing will happen to the music project:
