The venue for three gigs in Douglas by TT favourite Steve Gibbons has been changed at the last minute.
The band was due to perform at the South Douglas Old Friends' Association starting this evening, but the club had it's application to serve alcohol at the event rejected on a technicality.
It was felt a 'dry' venue wasn't appropriate and two of the concerts have been switched to the Paramount City nightclub on Queens Promenade, Douglas with performances tonight (Thursday) and on Sunday.
Extra seating is being made available at the club
Promoters of the gigs are thanking the Sefton Group for their help in the matter.
At present a venue has not been finalised for the gig on Thursday, June 11, but it's expected another location in Douglas will host what will be the final concert of Steve's mammoth Up Close and Personal TT Tour 2009.
