Marine life centre under consideration

Talks are taking place which could see the site of Ramsey's old swimming pool converted into a centre for Manx marine life.

The town's commissioners invited expressions of interest in the future of the building after the new pool came into use earlier this year.

They are now discussing details of five firm responses from interested parties, most of which are being kept confidential for commercial reasons.

However, David Kelly's idea for the Manx Marine Life Centre has been made public.

He believes it would be a boost to Ramsey and the wider economy and increase the public's awareness of the environment:
