A 24 year-old woman has been committed for to a Court of General Gaol by the High Bailiff, Michael Moyle, on a charge of attempted murder.
Julia Vanselow, of Desmesne Road in Douglas, allegedly tried to kill William Edward Smith, on Marine Drive on Boxing Day last year.
Mr Moyle granted the defendant bail until her appearance at General Gaol.
Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
