Archers on target for Island Games

This week saw everyone shoot at home for the first time this month and with only three weeks until the Island Games the team shot a Fita 720 with H2H team practice after the round.

Adrian Bruce took the gents compound top slot and the assisting team manager Joy Gough grabbed top spot in the ladies compound.

Gents recurve saw Alex Snell take the honours while Charlotte George topped the ladies recurve.

Ladies long metric round was won by Mary Tate and Chris Holmes topped the junior gents.

This weekend sees the Sports Aid and Top Spec Maintenance-backed George sisters head off-Island to the NCAS / YAA Single FITA Star & Metrics including Junior Inter Regional Shoot in Wetherby Yorkshire.

Charlotte will be shooting a full Fita and Aalin a metric three round, with both competing for the Northern Counties team.

Back at home this week's round is a Fita so the usual set up at 9.30am for sighters at 10.30.
