Mountain railway safety appeal from DoT

by isleofman.com 2nd June 2009

Motorists are being reminded to keep an extra lookout for Manx Electric Railway trams at the Bungalow during TT fortnight.

As usual, traffic on the mountain section of the TT course is one-way throughout festival fortnight, but the Department of Transport is urging all road users to concentrate as hard as ever.

The DoT says trams will be crossing the course at the Bungalow on the way up and down Snaefell throughout the period, and the message is to be careful.
