by isleofman.com 1st June 2009

The Blackford's Pre-TT Classic Road Races reach a climax on the Billown circuit today.

Roads on the southern circuit close at 9.10am ahead of racing, and will remain closed until 12.05pm.

Vehicles and pedestrians will then be allowed onto the course for 45 minutes, until the final closure of the meeting, between 12.50 and 3.45 this afternoon.

Meanwhile, practising for TT2009 on the Mountain Circuit continues this evening.

As usual, the mountain section will close at 5pm, with the rest of the course closing an hour later.

The first bikes are due away at 6.20 and the roads will reopen no later than 9pm
