Five children who have taken a legal drug known as 'Doves' have been admitted to the Accident and Emergency department at Noble's Hospital this week.
It's prompted the Public Health Directorate to issue a warning about the risks of dabbling in 'unknown' substances.
Some of these so called 'party pills' can cause long-term problems such as brain damage, and have even caused death in some cases.
Drug and Alcohol Liaison Officer Orla O'Donoghue says everybody should steer well clear of 'Doves' and similar legal highs, as they can be just as dangerous as illegal ones:
