Star rider strikes first coin bearing his image

TT absolute lap record holder John McGuinness says he's honoured his image is on a special edition coin.

The 50 pence piece, showing McGuinness on his Honda during his record breaking lap two years ago, goes into circulation on Monday.

The 14-time TT winner says 'it can’t be bad' as he prepares for TT 2009:
