With less than a month to go to the start of the switchover to digital television, a final reminder is being given that help and advice is available for people in certain groups.
The BBC scheme - aimed, among others, at local residents aged 75 and over - has been running for some months, but so far only 20 per cent of those eligible have signed up.
The Communications Commission is concerned that some people might get left behind, and is urging anybody who isn't sure how they will be affected, and who hasn't already done so, to get in touch.
Health Minister Eddie Teare will be sending out one last reminder in the post, in the next week or so.
Director of the commission Dr Carmel McLaughlin says there are a number of reasons why people might not have responded (play audio file):
The number to ring for help and advice on the switchover to digital television is 0800-408-5901.
And the Communications Commission is stressing help will not be available after August 22.
