Friends of Queen's Pier AGM

by isleofman.com 28th May 2009

The Friends of Queens Pier are holding their annual general meeting this evening (Thurs).

It will be held at Ramsey Town Hall at 7.30pm.

The group has been active for many years canvassing support among the public and actively pursuing the restoration of the pier and its preservation for the nation.

A steering group headed by the Chief Minister is currently carrying out an examination into the structure's future and is due to report back to Tynwald in November.

And you can hear the outcome of tonight's AGM from group member Michael Tramontana live on tomorrow morning's (Friday) Mandate programme.
