A Royal Navy warship is returning to the Isle of Man today, to renew links with the town after which she is named.
HMS Ramsey will be here for five days, after spending two and a half years in the Arabian Gulf.
She will host an official reception for civic dignitaries, including chairman of Ramsey Commissioners, Sylvia Beattie.
HMS Ramsey will berth at the Victoria Pier and, as well as official calls from the Lieutenant Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Paul Haddacks, and the new Mayor of Douglas, Michael Gelling, there will be tours of the ship by schools, colleges and groups including the Island's Sea Cadets.
The 600-tonne Sandown Class mine hunter is not open to the general public.
