Continent 8 Technologies Sponsor First KTM at TT 2009

by isleofman.com 27th May 2009

Continent 8 Technologies is pleased to be a sponsor of GQ Racing, managed by Graham Molyneux, both for TT 2009 and throughout the road racing season.

Rider Dan Sayle will be riding the latest in a long line of famous motorbike manufacturers to race at the TT. This will be the first time a bike from the Austrian manufacturer KTM will compete at the TT or on the Real Road racing circuits of Britain.

This particular bike has been raced in the Red Bull series in the United States last year and is the same type of bike that is used in the 125 Moto GP series.

Dan will be competing in the Ultra Lightweight 125cc races on the Billown circuit on Saturday 13th June.

Dan Sayle and Graham Molyneux have a fine road racing pedigree with over 20 podium finishes at the TT alone, along with 14 wins.

It is planned that Dan and the KTM will be competing at Road races throughout the British Isles this season including, the Southern 100, Scarborough, Aintree and the Manx Grand Prix.

'This is a great opportunity for Continent 8 Technologies to sponsor a local team bringing a new and exciting manufacturer to the TT', said Continent 8 Technologies’ Head of Marketing Richard Ebbutt.

'We wish Graham and Dan every success for the season and especially the races here on their home
circuits'.
