New chairman sees job as a challenging role

Peel MHK Tim Crookall says he is looking forward to taking charge at the Isle of Man Water Authority.

The appointment was part of Chief Minister Tony Brown's mid-term reshuffle of board and department members, and Mr Crookall found out he was to chair the authority at the weekend.

He says the opportunity came as a surprise, but he is more than willing to take on the responsibility for maintaining the Island's water supply.

However, he believes it's far from being an easy job:
