Minister explains DTL TT entertainment plans

The tourism minister believes the entertainment arranged by his department for this year's TT festival will offer something for everyone.

Martyn Quayle is refusing to comment on the lack of organised stunt shows outside Bushy's beer tent, which has led to fears some bikers may perform their own.

Most of the events will be taking place in the Villa Marina, including performances by Whitesnake, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and the Fabulous Thunderbirds.

The annual fair along Douglas promenade, one of the most popular attraction with locals, will also be absent during the TT period:

However, Mr Quayle insists it won't be missed:
