'Must-see' TT in Telegraph

by isleofman.com 23rd May 2009

The TT has been named one of the top events in this summer’s sporting calendar.

The Daily Telegraph places the festival at number one in its list of the top 10 sporting events, compiled by Charles Starmer-Smith.

The TT, which starts on Saturday, was joined on the list by other major sporting events, including Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, The Open and The Ashes.

The Daily Telegraph describes it as ‘still the greatest road race festival in the world – the 38-mile undulating mountain course, run on regular roads, is motor racing at its most raw and dangerous.’
