Homeless charity looks for volunteer families

The organisation behind a scheme to provide accommodation to homeless young poeple in the Isle of Man, are stressing it's not a councelling service.

Kemmyrk, the Manx homeless charity, recently launched its Nightstop project.

It aims to put a roof over the heads of homeless 16 to 25 year olds by providing volunteer host families, to look after them.

Homelessness projects development officer Fiona Robinson says it can be very fulfilling (play audio file):
