Charity set to benefit from students' trip to Island

A trio of intrepid students from Bradford University have embarked on a slightly odd journey to the Isle of Man, all in aid of St John Ambulance.

They have to get as far away from their student union as possible in 24 hours, but they can't use any money and have to try and be eco-friendly.

If the team, known as 'No Sleep 'Til Douglas', make it to Heysham for the 2.15am ferry they have been promised three free one-way tickets by the Steam Packet.

One of the students, Ian Thursfield, says they are going to try and get even further, once they reach the Island:
