Depositors protest over lack of voting forms

As Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander depositors were voting on the Manx government’s Scheme of Arrangement, some of their number were crying foul about the poll.

Many depositors living in Europe, South America and the Far East said they still hadn't received the documents which would allow them to take part in the vote.

Paul Smillie lives with his wife in France and faxed Deputy Deemster Corlett asking for the vote to be declared null and void because so many have been disenfranchised.

He says he is losing faith in the process:
