The 2009 champions in the top divisions of the men's and women's hockey leagues kept alive their hopes of completing 'doubles', when they brushed aside their opponents in the cup semi-finals.

In the men's competition, two goals from Dave Kneale and one each from Andrew Whiting, Karl Moore and Gareth Craig saw Bacchas A beat Vikings A 5-1. Conor Byrne replied for their opponents.

In the other semi, Jonny Killey and Stephen Cottier scored for Saracens to book their place in Monday evening's final at the National Sports Centre.

Bacchas C beat their own D team 6-0 in the Men's Plate final, with two goals each from Pete Hodgson and Alex Bell, and one apiece for Alex Atkinson and Richard Weir.

In Men's Division Two, Vakyrs C won 3-1 at Castletown B, thanks to goals from Stephen Moore (2) and Liam Dunne.

Women's champions Vikings A went one better than their male counterparts, with a 6-1 semi-final success against Bacchas A. Kim Carney grabbed a hat-trick and there were further goals from Kirsty Hunt, Kat Gatherer and Zoe Carney. Donna Harrison replied for Bacchas.

The other semi-final was decided on penalty flicks, after Castletown A and Ramsey A battled out an exciting 3-3 draw. Castletown won the shoot-out 2-0, and their scorers in open play were Hannah Logan, Lois Watterson and Kerry Kelly.

The women's final is at Castle Rush High School on Monday evening.

Ramsey B defeated Vikings B on penalty flicks in the final of the Women's Plate, after a 1-1 draw.

There were two matches in Women's Division Two, in which Bacchas B beat Harlequins 3-1 and Valkyrs B and Castletown B drew 1-1. Kelly Bailey (2) and Kate Head were on target for Bacchas and Ali Middleton replied for Harlequins. Tamsyn Cleavley scored for Valkyrs.
