Weather Hits Weekend Sport

by isleofman.com 15th May 2009

Two of Saturday's three Standard Bank Premiership Cricket fixtures have been washed out.

Castletown against Ramsey and Loaghtyn Rams game against Crosby were scheduled to be played at King William's College, but heavy rain has soaked the playing strips at the venue.

There will be a pitch inspection ahead of the other match between Cronkbourne and St. John's at Tromode.

Sunday's Manx Mountain Bike Club event at Chibbanagh Plantation has also been postponed because parts of the intended route are not in an ideal condition after Friday's downpour.
