Sponsored walk to raise funds for new charity

A newly formed charity is hoping locals get behind its first public fundraiser this evening.

A sponsored walk along Douglas promenade is raising money and awareness for Bowel Cancer Isle of Man.

Chairman Heather Norman and director of fundraising Zoe Hawley says the route is fairly straightforward (play audio file):

Those wishing to take part are asked to assemble at the town square at 5.30 this evening.
