Good news on the employment front

Countering trends elsewhere, unemployment in the Isle of Man has fallen again.

The total went down by 22 last month and now stands at 925, representing 2.2 per cent of the economically active population.

The major movements off the register were by people taking up positions in hospitality, retailing and construction.
