Increase cycling backing, govt urged

The Manx government’s being urged to make a stronger commitment to cycling.

Commuters and school children are the targets of plans to extend the Isle of Man's cycle lane network, while a number of mountain bike trails could be developed in plantations around the Island.

Steve Shimmin from the Isle of Man Cycling Association says there’s increasingly more cyclists in the Island, both competing and commuting.
