Jersey counter-terrorist expert at Villa briefing

Would you know what to do in a terrorist attack?

That was the question asked of hoteliers and shop owners at the Villa Marina yesterday, as they were shown a screened simulation of one, as part of a training exercise.

Also present were representatives from the Isle of Man's emergency services.

Detective Constable Bruce Liron, the counter-terrorist security advisor for the police in Jersey, was one of those running the exercise.

He says it's vital for businesses to communicate with each other if they see something suspicious:
