Kaupthing depositors who want to find out more about the proposed Scheme of Arrangement are being advised to go to the Villa Marina this morning.
The bank’s provisional liquidator PricewaterhouseCooper is holding a briefing at 11am.
More than 2,000 Kaupthing depositors are Island residents and there is significant interest in the proposed scheme.
The Manx Treasury is arguing it would give guaranteed, scheduled payments and offer the best outcome for depositors, fully refunding more than 70 per cent of them within two years.
Depositors will vote on whether to accept it on Tuesday next week, while the petition to wind up the bank has been adjourned until May 27.
A recording of today’s briefing will be made available online after the event for those who can't make it to the meeting.
